This cod is harvested by families just like ours. Our source comes from the cold, deep waters of Yakutat, Kenai, Sitka, and Kodiak, Alaska. It is predominantly pot caught which means it has a low impact on the environment, and sustainably harvested in closely managed waters.

Black Cod is also referred to as Butterfish with its rich, buttery and sweet flavor. It is a perfectly flaky fish that is very approachable for even the pickiest fish eater. It is naturally high in omega-3 fatty acids and is on the “best choice” scale.

Product is sold in 10 lb increments, approximately 26 pieces. Each portion is 6 oz, pin bone out (PBO), carefully vacuum sealed and flash frozen to maintain freshness.
