Sterling Wild Salmon is a family owned and operated sustainable fishing company. We spend our summers in Pilot Point, Alaska from May-August and fish the salmon run in the Ugashik River at the mouth of Bristol Bay, Alaska. We are set-gillnetters. We fish out of 26-foot aluminum skiffs with 50-fathom nets from shore to river. We spend long days fishing and then return home to our 700 sq. foot cabin where our kids, Hans and Iris, await the news from the day (on sunny days, they are out with us learning the trade). When summer ends, we bring it back to our home in Salt Lake City to share with our community.
All of our products are carefully handled with love, vacuum sealed, and flash frozen in order to maintain the highest quality freshness. We are proud to offer a product that is wild and sustainably harvested by us. We cannot wait to share this feel good food with you!
