This halibut is harvested by families just like ours. Our source comes from the cold, deep waters of Sitka and Yakutat, Alaska. It is line caught which means it has a low impact on the environment, and sustainably harvested in closely managed waters. 

Halibut is a lean fish with mild, sweet tasting white flesh, large flakes and a firm but tender texture. Halibut contains a variety of nutrients that are beneficial for your heart, such as omega-3 fatty acids, niacin, selenium, and magnesium. 

Product is sold in 5 lb increments, approximately 8 portions per box. Each portion is 10 oz, skinless, and pin bone out (PBO).  Portions are carefully vacuum sealed and flash frozen to maintain freshness.
